Handling of Personal Information

TechComm Simulation (hereinafter referred to as "TCS") respect your privacy and is committed to protecting it. TCS provides this Privacy Statement to inform you of our Privacy Policy and practices and of the choices you can make about the way your information is collected online and how that information is used.

In principle, you may use most of the services provided through Web sites run by TCS or on the Internet, without disclosing your personal information. For specific services, however, you may be asked to provide your personal information, in which case TCS or our partners shall be required to keep such information confidential.

Furthermore, TCS is fully aware of the importance of safeguarding the privacy of such information when handling electronic information. In some cases, TCS may subcontract the management of a specific Web site, whole or a part thereof, to an outside firm that TCS judges to be trustworthy. The personal information of each individual user is protected also in these cases under TCS's rules of handling personal information.

Personal information mentioned herein and defined by TCS refers to information of all kinds related to each individual person (the name, residential address, mailing address, employer's name, department name, phone number, opinions, and so on) that is electronically transmitted to TCS by users.
In order to make your Web site browsing more efficient or to provide follow-up services after Web site browsing, TCS may ask users to provide personal information in the case of:

-online user registration
-requesting catalogs
-answering questionnaires
-registering subscriptions to newsletters or the like
-ordering products or providing services
-allow user access to limited-entry areas of this Web site as appropriate
-other cases

TCS occasionally hires other companies to provide limited services on its behalf, including packaging, mailing and delivering purchases, answering user questions about products or services, sending postal mail and processing event registration. TCS will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

In all cases, TCS will expressly state why such information is necessary, so that you may provide the information at your own discretion. TCS will not disclose personal information provided by users to any party, other than TCS itself or TCS’s affiliates or business partners, without prior permission from the users, except in cases where TCS provides its commissioned trader with such information necessary for a trade to be executed.

However, in cases where a settlement needs to be made for using pay services or purchasing products, TCS may exchange personal information with firms, including without limitation, financial institutions, in order to check the validity of bank accounts and/or credit cards. Likewise, TCS may disclose personal information in case such disclosure is mandatory under applicable laws or is reasonably judged to be essential in order to protect and safeguard the rights, property and safety of other users, TCS itself, and/or TCS's affiliates.

For the purpose of product development, identification of business needs, and sales promotion, TCS may use personal information, personal opinions, and the like presented by users, though such use shall be limited only to TCS itself and TCS's affiliates and business partners.

TCS will accept, to a reasonable extent, such possible user requests as making corrections or deletions to personal information presented by users.

TCS may use the IP addresses of users recorded in the system, in order to explore the cause of or solution to any problem arising in servers, or to administer its Web sites.

In some cases, this specific Web site may contain other notices about the use and the information practices applicable.

Circumstances may arise where, whether for strategic or other business reasons, TCS decides to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganise businesses in some countries. Such a transaction may involve the disclosure of personal information to prospective or actual purchasers, or receiving it from sellers. It is TCS’s practice to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions.

Please be aware that in certain circumstances, it is possible that personal information may be subject to disclosure pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, or order.

This Web site may contain links to other web sites. TCS is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those other web sites.
