The generic
simulator range includes simulators with a variety of typical power plant
arrangements, control system designs and operator controls and information
systems. They permit training of operators in general principles of plant
operation and control, and with the range of plant configurations available,
can be supplied in a form very similar to the actual plant of the customer.
All parts of the plant are included with the exception of duplicate circuits
and auxiliaries, which are of no significance to training.
Based on the
fuel used these simulators are classified as:

Generic conventional coal fired power plant simulator.

Generic conventional oil and gas fired power plant simulator.

Generic combined cycle gas turbine power plant simulator.
