Libya CCGT Operations personnel training course – conducted at the Lumut power plant site in Malaysia. Over 30 persons were brought to Malaysia to undergo 6 weeks of site specific and simulator training.

Operator Training Scheme – Australia – in conjunction with GippsTafe in Victoria delivered a 27 week operator training program to students from outside the industry. This resulted in all participants receiving their ESI Generation Certificate III (Nationally recognised) and the Intermediate Boiler Workplace Ticket.

Underpinning knowledge training – NRG Australia – delivered a four week training program for new operators

Australian site specific training for 23 Malaysian operators and engineers from the Tanjung Bin power plant. Participants were billeted at the Mt Piper power plant in NSW for four weeks and underwent power plant appreciation on-the-job and simulator training.

Basic and site specific training – Eraring and Macquarie Generation Companies in NSW, Australia. This included the development of a self-paced underpinning knowledge training program and materials for the Macquarie Generation Company.

Site specific training – TruEnergy – Australia – delivered a number of 26 week training courses for personnel at various levels. This also included the delivering of basic power plant process training to maintenance personnel.
